"Golf has taken me on an unbelievable journey, but I must say that when I recall my times at Springhaven - its happy atmosphere, its truly delightful members, the camaraderie and competitive spirit of its golfers over the years - I smile, because this is golf at its best." - Jay Sigel, PGA Professional, 8 Time PGA Champions Tour Winner

Questions about the Golf Program

  • Does the Club have a website and an email system? Our website is www.thespringhavenclub.com. You will find a lot of information on this site. Please send Joe Wurtz an email at jwurtz@springhavengolf.com requesting to join our email list.
  • How do I sign up for a tournament? Some tournaments require that you sign up. The sign up is located in the Pro Shop. Please take some time to read the format. Other tournaments do not require you to sign up at all. All you have to do is show up. Please ask one of the Pro Shop staff to help you in determining what kind of sign up it is. Please remember that if the tournament requires partners and you do not have one, we will try to get you a partner.
  • What is the Guest Policy or How many guests may I bring to the Club? A member may bring guests during the times they are permitted to play. During the week, a member may bring 1 to 3 guests during these times. On the weekend, a Certificate or Intermediate member may bring 1 guest prior to 9:30AM, or 1 to 3 guests after 9:30AM.
  • How do I get a game when I come to the Club? Speak with Sean Driscoll, our Caddymaster, or any member of The Professional Staff and we will inform you of the possible games that are available to you.
  • Do we have a Junior Golf Program? We are happy to say that we have a great Junior Golf Program that continues to grow and change with the times.  Click Here to Access our Junior Golf Pamphlet.
  • How do I pay for something that I purchase in the Pro Shop? We accept several different kinds of payments. Member charge, check, Visa, MasterCard and Gift Cards.
  • As a House Member, may I bring a guest to play with me? A House member may bring up to 3 guests during the allowable playing times for a House member.
  • What is the Dress Code for Junior Golfers? The dresscode for juniors is the same as the adults. Golf attire must be in good taste. Soft spikes are mandatory. Tee shirts, tank tops, jeans, cargo pants and cargo shorts, bathing suits, short shorts and similar apparel are specifically prohibited on the golf course and the practice facilities.
  • Where do I sign in my guests? See Sean Driscoll or any member of The Professional Staff and we will register your guests names. At this time, please inform Sean whether you want to ride a cart, or take a caddie, or both.
  • When can I carry my own clubs? Players may carry their own bag after 2PM in season.* See above.
  • Can I play golf with my shirt un-tucked and hat on backwards? No, all members and guests must have shirts tucked in when appropriate. Rally caps are not permitted.
