The Springhaven Club- A Cornerstone of Tradition Since 1896

Nestled in the heart of historic Wallingford, The Springhaven Club is located just minutes from Philadelphia and Wilmington. Springhaven’s founders and early members were among the very elite of Philadelphia’s social circles, from political leaders to distinguished businessmen. It was 1896 and social gatherings were becoming an important part of business and everyday life as farming gave way to industry along the Delaware River.

 Today the Club boasts both rich historical settings and amenities of a modern social Club. Our beautiful golf course, flexible meeting spaces and spacious ballroom, complete with open patio and lovely gardens, promises the perfect setting for your next event.  
The Springhaven Club has the ideal offerings for any type of event, specializing in bridal and baby showers, anniversaries, graduations, bar/bat mitzvah, birthday celebrations, family events, off–site meetings, training seminars or team–building events.

The Springhaven Club will exceed your needs when planning your next important event. Our versatile rooms are designed to heighten your special event accommodating 10 to 240 guests.  The Clubhouse features three beautiful areas:

The Springhaven Room-The Springhaven Room accommodates up to 240 seated guests without a dance floor and 200 guests with a dance floor. It has an open feeling created by its grand bay windows offering panoramic views of our historic golf course and easily accommodates formal and casual events.

The Founders' Room-For a more intimate affair, the Founders’ Room accommodates up to 40 guests. The large windows provide ample natural light and exceptional golf course view.

Outdoor Patio-Our outdoor cobblestone Patio, adjacent to The Springhaven Room, is circled by seasonal gardensand features beautiful golf course views. It is the perfect setting for cocktails and informal private events.

Memorial/Funeral Luncheons

With the loss of a loved one there are many important decisions to be made, with little time available and many emotions involved. We extend our deepest sympathies to you and your family and will make every effort to accommodate your date and time request, as well as the specific venue and menu preferences for your funeral Luncheon. No in-person visit or appointment is needed to make the necessary arrangements. Simply call the Private Events Manager who will take care of all the details. A variety of menu selections and price points are available.
